So, yeah...I'm pretty happy that it is that time of year again. I love this time of year! Plus I'm almost done with Christmas shopping and we are already all decorated for the holidays. Now I can just enjoy it!! Of course I have to work so I can afford to enjoy it, but I guess that's ok.
Been a little busy since I've written. Seems like Chris and my schedules just aren't matching up lately which has been a bit of a frustration but we try to see each other as much as we can. His basketball team has been doing fairly well so far so thats good news. I've been able to work a bit more lately too which is good since I really need the money.
My nephew Liam also came to visit this last week. He goes home tomorrow, but it was fun to have him in town. We went to the Kings game together this past week and he really enjoyed it. He was so cute...thanking me for taking him every 30 minutes or so. I had a lot of fun too.
Guess thats about it...I'm at work right now, but not much to report there. Work is work. Till next time
A place to vent, relate my exciting life, and just talk alot! ;)

busy doing nothing
Well, I'm back in Cali. I had fun in Utah not sure I was ready to come back to reality but its nice to sleep in my own bed again. Can't say I've done a whole lot since I got back, but I seem to be keeping busy anyways.
This past weekend was one of those weekends where I can't think of anything productive that I did or fun for that matter...but I feel like it was super busy. Friday night I went with Chris to the clinic since he's still not feeling well and then we ended up watching movies at my place. Saturday Chris had basketball tryouts all day and then Stake Conference that night so I never did see him. I wasn't feeling marvelous anyways. On Sunday I had a meeting on top of regular church meetings, had dinner with my folks and then Chris and I went to the YSA fireside.
Now I'm working (or I guess I'm being a bit lazy while i get paid to work). It isn't my fault though...we are slow and my patient is easy. I guess I might as well enjoy it since I'm working the next two nights after tonight. I'm not looking forward to so much work, but the pay check will be nice...
I guess that's about it. I have a lot of work and meetings coming up these next few weeks. I really need to start thinking about Christmas shopping. and I'm hoping to spend at least a few hours with my boyfriend these next few weeks...

Visiting Utah
Well...I'm here in Utah. The baby is adorable!!! I'm really enjoying my time with my sister. I'm really tired though. I always seem to forget how exhausting young children are. Don't know how my sister does it day in and day out!!!
We haven't done too much to report. Mostly been around the house since Lucus can't go out except for doctor appointments for three months. We've gotten out a bit while Jared is home. Me and Christine got out to the mall for a bit yesterday and today I went to church with the three older kids and Jared.
That's about it. Kids are as cute as always. Joelle is growing up and getting so mature. She seems so much older than I was at that age. Liam is so tall and seems to be enjoying kindergarten. He loves the new baby and wants to be around him constantly! Max is such and cutie...stubborn but cute. He comes up and gives me big hugs. He tries so hard to be big like Joelle and Liam, he's getting there. Dane is walking really well now and says a couple things: love you and why(this basically means anything he wants though). He is so sweet. Little Lucus is so tiny, but well loved. He is so fun to hold. Looks alot like the other boys as babies.
Thats about it

been too long...
Well...I've been reminded by a few people that it has been awhile since I've written anything. That would be because not a lot has occured in my life, but I figure it is about time to write any ways.
Well, besides work and church I spend most of my time with Chris. Or at least we try to...Between work schedules, both of us being sick lately (him a lot more than me)and life just being busy it seems we don't have nearly as much time to be together as we'd like. But the time that I am able to be with him is great. Whether that is window shopping, going out to eat, him cooking for me, playing hearts or just relaxing I really enjoy being with him.
My sister had her fifth child a week ago. His name is Lucas, and he is adorable. I can't wait to see him and all the rest of my sisters kids on Thursday when I go back to Utah. It will be fun to spend some time with the kids and my sister and hopefully be some help.
Other news I guess is that I just interviewed for a new position at Sutter Memorial in their NICU. The interview went fairly well, but there are a lot of applicants. I should hear by friday if I got the job. I really hope I do. It would be a great experience.
I guess that's it for now... I'll try to do better at posting

For my mother's sake...
So, my mom wanted me to write down how me and Chris met and other sappy things like that so she could put it together in a scrapbook. I thought that it would all be on my blog, but I realized that I was purposely vague when I first started dating Chris so that I wouldn't jinx anything. Now since this is over the internet I'm not sure how much to share, but here it is. The story of how me and Chris met...(warning you, it isn't all that romantic)
A long, long time ago (a little over a month that is) I was at a ball (YSA dance). I was somewhat enjoying myself, as much as you can when you came stag with another couple. It was about midway through the dance and we decided that we wanted some water. My companions got caught in a conversation in the foyer and so I proceded back into the dance by myself. As I prepared to enter the ballroom (otherwise known as a gym)I spotted a very nice looking young man. We smiled at each other and I continued on into the dance.
This particular young man related later that he spent most of the rest of the dance searching frantically for the fair maiden that had smiled at him at the doorway, but it was all in vain. For she was hidden in the mass of dancers.
Back to my account...The ball had ended and the masses were separating to their different endeavers. My companions Kirk and Candee were taking an exuberant amount of time to leave so I prepared to take my leave alone. I'll admit I was hoping that one of the young men that I had met that evening would ask me out or at least converse with me, but as they were otherwise engaged I left.
As I was making my way to my vehicle I noticed the handsome young man that had smiled at me earlier. As we were crossing paths he turned to me and said "Hey, I meant to speak with you earlier in there but could not find you"
Thus began a long conversation that carried on to my residence that evening. And as it is said, the rest is history.
Ok, I hope you enjoyed my cheesy telling of that story :)

REALLY HATE HEIGHTS
Ok, so my sister asked me today what was going on new and exciting in my life and I couldn't think of anything...sad but true. But that isn't to say my life isn't great right now, it's just predictable. I did think of something kinda fun that I did in the last few days.
So, Saturday night Chris took me out to Chipotle and to Scandia...Food was good of course and the company was even better. But the exciting, or entertaining is probably a better word, thing that happened was at Scandia.
I don't know how many are familiar with the Screamer at Scandia, but it is this ride that you strap yourself in and then spin around in a half enclosed cage up to about 80 ft high. Well anyone who knows me well knows that i HATE heights. I get all nervous and close my eyes really tight when ever I go anywhere remotely high (unless I feel REALLY safe). Well, the bad thing about a boyfriend is they can convince you to do just about anything. So, somehow I ended up strapped in this thing against my better judgement. OH MY HECK!!!! It was so freaky, and I did the whole thing with my eyes closed and clinging to Chris's hand. I"m NEVER Ever doing that or anything like it ever again. But I guess I can say I did something outside of my comfort zone this past week. ;)
I guess that's about it...I see Chris most days and that makes me happy... :) And I'm taking some silly classes at work right now which is getting me out of bed before noon most days.

so...I was looking on here and was noticing that no one had commented in awhile...but I also noticed I hadn't written in awhile ;) So here it is.
I'm officially 23 now. REALLY weird! but I guess I've got nothing to complain about, for my age I feel like I'm at a good place in my life. My birthday dinner with the family was really good. My mom made her usual wonderful meal. Both of my grandmas were able to be there as was my friend/roommate Candee, her boyfriend and my boyfriend Chris.
Chris also took me out for my birthday. We went to Johnny Carinos and to the Music Circus to see 1776. It was a great night. And he gave me a matching necklace/earring set.
Ok, I have to leave for work or I'll be late. Oh yeah, I met Chris's parent's for the first time last night. They are totally nice, and although I was totally nervous it was nice. ok really have to leave now

Alright, so I'm at work again and trying to stay awake... It isn't working so well :0
I guess that is what you get when you move all weekend and then decide to go hiking all day after that. So now I'm sunburned, sleep deprived and happy.
I'm glad we are moved in to our new apt. It is smaller, but it is already beginning to feel "homey." Candee has pictures up throughout, and we are slowly getting all of our boxes put away. I think it will work out just fine...I just don't want to move for a long, long time.
We went up to Tahoe monday night and spent all of tuesday at the cabin in Strawberry. It was such a blast. We hiked the mountain in front of the cabin (which was not an easy feat), then swam a bit. We ate at a great little burger joint that mom and dad recommended in Tahoe. Our burgers kinda fell apart, but they tasted really good. We did a bit of window shopping and stopped at the Lake for a bit. Over all it was a pretty good day. Exhausting, but a good day!
Today I mostly just slept. I did get to the grocery store though and played with my Wii a bit. Nothing too exciting, but I'd probably be dragging even more if it had been any more exciting. ;)
Well, that's all for now...Maybe I'll go back to working...but probably not

Alright, so I like someone new...fun of course. We only met a little over a week ago, so we shall see. But I'm hopeful. That's all I'll say about that for now..don't want to jinx anything
This last weekend we moved to a new apt in Natomas and I never want to see another box in my life!! Ugh, I hate moving. Everyone was on edge, and the moving was just not smooth. But almost all of it is done so that is a relief.
This is a really short entry, but I figured an important one... :) I should probably go help my mom make dinner. I'm really hungry so dinner sounds great!!!

for lack of a title
Well...Let's see, not much really going on to report. But since it has been over a month since I've blogged, I might as well right something, right? I'm gonna try to avoid complaining about guys since that is about all I do on here... :)
Right now I'm at work (and getting paid well to sit here and type this), and falling asleep. This is probably gonna be one of the lamest blogs I've ever written but oh well. Yesterday I bought a replacement fish since Candee finally killed Yoda after may weeks of him barely surviving at the bottom of his fish bowl. The new fish has been Christianed Darth. We are trying to stick with the Star Wars theme...I was thinking of calling him "Next Victim" since he is male (and that is what my roommate so lovingly calls my male companions) and since he is replacing Yoda, but I figured that is a cruel way to start the poor fishes life. I got coerced into coming into work tonight, but I guess it is all good I now have friday off!
Not really dating anyone. Have a good friend who I would love for it to be more, but that's about it. And since I'm not venting about boys I will just have to avoid telling everyone my recent guy story...sad but true
Not much else to report. I'll be here again tomorrow. My sister and the fam will be in town later this week, which should be fun. I will probably go dancing Friday now that i have it off...Well guess that is it. Sorry this is lame, but what do you expect at 1:30 in the morning?

Well, it's been a bit since I've written on here, but there hasn't been much going on to report either. I've been working, meeting new people here and there, and spending some time with the fam.
Yesterday was a lot of fun though. During the day I went to the fair with my mom, dad and niece Joelle. It was fun...Me and Joelle went on some rides. I got a snowcone. There was also a bunch of really great music! Joelle got her face painted. she looked so cute! Joelle didn't want to leave the fair, but by the end we were all exhausted and it was getting hot.
That evening I got to go to a ward party. It was a big luau/swim party. There was a decent amount of people there, and it was a bunch of fun swimming and eating. We played a very exciting game of sharks and minnows, and I was awful, but fun anyways. After it started to calm down there was fire and marshmellows. I sat and talked to a guy for awhile at the fire and he made me a "perfect marshmellow" Well, I guess that's about it for that, it was fun though...
Today I went to church, and wasn't falling asleep ;) The talks in Sacrament meeting were really great! A guy named Steve gave a really great talk about the Restoration. He's pretty cute too :) The other talks were really great, as was sunday school and Relief Society! I got to sit right by Steve too and share my scriptures ;) Well I guess that's it. We just finished with Dinner and I'm gonna go to a fireside tonight. should be fun!

Hate being the patient!

So, I hurt my back at work a few days ago(or at least it has been hurting since then). I don't remember doing anything to it, it just hurts. So today when my abdomen started getting all painful and I started to feel like I was gonna pass out I went to visit the evil world of the ER. Probably could have waited till the next day or something, but I was in so much pain I couldn't think of that...
Basically 4 1/2 hours later I was told what I already knew and was given painkillers. All in all it wasn't that bad of a visit to the ER (I've had much worse), but I still hate that I went. It is always so useless. Maybe if I ever felt like they solved anything when i went then i wouldn't hate it so much...Oh well, whats done is done...
I think I must have been in a bad mood tonight...My mother was kinda irritating me tonight. She was saying things that either bugged me or kinda upset me, but I was in no mood to argue so I didn't say anything. I hope it was just that I was in a bad mood. I hate being irritated by my parents, it makes me feel guilty or something...
Well, I just took some of my painkillers and hopefully they will kick in any moment. I'm exhausted and need some sleep. Night :)

My Life is too crazy, Even for me!

So, I had a great day yesterday! I went to what was formally called Marine world. Rode an elephant. Got REALLY, REALLY wet from the fin of a dolphin. and got to pet the dophin. It was fun! Then I had to meet up with the flower/stood up at the movie theatre guy (great name, huh?)
What should have been a thirty minute talk turned into a 2 hour thing at the park. He freaking brought his brothers along. It was weird! And we didn't talk about anything new. All it was was him trying to get me not to completely walk away. WHATEVER! Such a weird thing. I shouldn't have gone. Guess that's my fault though. Plus he made me miss spending time with my parents, which I was not happy about ! :(
Oh, btw, by Candee and Kirks challenge I am trying something new when it comes to dating...Candee has challenged me to not kissing until the 5th date...(oh and if I don't wait I have to wash her car) Well when I made the agree I guess I didn't realize how hard it would be. Last night was I guess the second date with this new guy and he wanted to kiss me and I wanted to kiss him SOOOO bad!!! ARG, hopefully I will not have to wash Candee's car!

And the Saga continues...

So, I was cleaning the apt today (amazing I know!), and the doorbell rang...The delivery man had and package and it was for me. Now...I know I had just gotten the last of the packages I had been expecting so I was quite surprised. Then I noticed that it was a box of flowers. Now, I can count on one hand how many times I have gotten flowers, so I was kinda excited. Especially since I'm not dating any one, so it wasn't likely to happen any time soon. Well, I open them up and there is a card from the guy that I just talked about in my last blog (you know, the one I ditched to go out with the other guy). He wants another chance-another chance at what??? Arg!!!!!!!!! I hate men! Well, I texted him thanking him for the flowers and saying that I still wasn't interested. Well he texts back asking if we can just talk...What does a girl do? Honestly, this is rediculous. But I agreed, but because of stupid scheduling we have to wait till Monday and I have to drive out to Roseville to meet at a park in Roseville.
Guys have thoroughly ruined parks. I have broken up at more parks than anywhere else. I used to love parks, now they just seem like a bad omen. lol
Oh, I also ran into my first ex (or however you put that) on LDSlinkup. Crazyness, I know. Kinda cool to hear from him again though. Well enough lamenting about my boy drama. Later (p.s. I figured the blog needed a pic of flowers and this is the only one I've got. LOVE ya Ade)

LONG BREAK!!! YEAH

Well, It was an exciting memorial day weekend. lol...I do have a really fun, probably bad story to share with the world, but oh well...
This past friday I was SUPPOSED to go on date with a guy. Well as my friends will testify, I go through guys like a fat kid goes through a happy meal. Which is really, really bad and I don't mean to. Well I didn't really want to go out with him any more, but I was too chicken to just tell him that straight out so I hinted at it and ultimately just told him I was feeling ill. Well...I was...But I decided latter that I really didn't want to waste the movie tickets I bought. "s" being the key word...I invited someone else...And it was a guy...Well of course, the original date shows up at the same showing and sees me with another guy, ugh, it was aweful!!!
Well, to the less exciting parts of my life. Candee and Kirk are now on a mission to find me a guy. this weekend was fairly uneventful after Friday. I worked Saturday night. We got to play with lots of babies. It was pretty fun. Then I slept way too much Sunday and slept through church...oops. I hate when I do that...
Monday I cooked breakfast for Candee and Kirk and I was lazy the rest of the day. I went to a bbq with C&K to Kirk's family party...Little odd, but alright. Now it is Tuesday and me and Candee are going to hang out. It should be fun. I think pedicures are in the plan...Well until next time..(p.s this is the only pic I have of Candee and Kirk together and since I mentioned them alot...)

Just starting up

Well, I figured it is about time I had a blog of my own...My dad and my sister have blogs of there own and I can't be shown up by them forever. ;)
As this is my first blog, and I don't feel like filling in on my whole life, we will just speed up to now...So last night I worked...blah, blah, blah...It is getting so boring. We have barely any patients and the patients we do have are all in and out. We watched another movie last night. I think it was "Freedom Writers." We also got fed pizza last night for some employee appreciation thing and watched a really sweet movie on some kids at Shriner's that we have helped over the years. Well, at least I ate well, right???
Tonight I guess I'm working again. I'm a sucker, but that's ok, I need the money...I am gonna go hang at Amber's for a bit. A guy I used like is back in town and he's gonna be there, so that should be cool. Hopefully ;) Well, I guess that is all for now. more to come...btw the pic is from the conference that I just went to for work...
