The next generation

Well, it has been a whirlwind of a year. We found out the end of July that we are going to have a baby next year. We are getting really excited! Trying to get the nursery together, trying to pick out a name and just enjoying the idea that a new life is coming to our family.

We don't have a name narrowed down at all, but we are excited to welcome a new little boy around April 1st.

The Update

So, I guess being married has significantly altered my blogging habits. Most likely because I have been more busy since I've been married than I ever was before and we don't even have kids yet!! I don't know how all of you mothers out there do it, but I officially have great respect for each of you.

Well, I did get married in January and since then most of my time has been spent trying to help my husband fix up our house and yard. We re-did our family room and it looks so good! My husband is amazing! We also painted our bedroom, put in a new bathroom for the renter in the basement and remodeled both of our bathrooms. We still have a few things I would like done but for now since it is mostly nice outside,(Really wish Mother Nature would decide what it wants to do...) we are working on our yard. Last year all the grass was demolished with other construction so right now we are working on getting a sprinkler system in and will hopefully have grass soon. I can't wait to have a yard for summer bbq's.

Other than house stuff there is not much going on with us but I am happy to say that so far the first 4 months of marriage are GREAT! I'll try to keep you posted on the months to come.
